Random Rants originally meant to be a website to record all the things I learn in my university. Sort of a personal academic journal. It was also meant to contain all my essays and presentation slides. But I dropped the idea when I think that I could not publish my works as all the works would now be the University’s property. In the end I decided to use this domain to be a blog of random rants where I put all the random things I learn everyday.

The previous domain was won from Bubble.nu’s domain contest. The grand prize was a .nu domain but I didn’t get it and won a standard TLD instead. Anyway, I chose the name Amalina because it is my real name and I thought it’d be cool to have a domain with my namesake.

Kitty-kat.org was purchased some time ago but since I had no use for it, it was parked under Nekonette.com and the domain was set as a redirect to Nekonette. However, when Amalina.org expired and it was too late to renew it, I had the domain pushed to house Random Rants.
